1) Don't use VC9
2) Use H.264

Longhorn is due out this Spring, it just won't be available for Intel or AMD for 3-4 years due to the need to reproduce all features in Longhorn for IBM/Motorola.

Actually Longhorn is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2006. That's what Steve Ballmer has said in October. Windows XP64 is slated for an early 2005 release.

But back ontopic, please give us a product that doesn't sacrifice quality for politics. aka, no format war.
