    Hiya...looking around I see some really impressive set-ups here. I've nothing that grand at all - Just a flatscreen with a soundbar, but what brought me here really are the movies! I'd watch them on the old B&W I used to own and need to give a hefty smack on the side every now and then to get the picture back if I had to! :D

    Welcome Richard! As you noted it's REALLY easy to get started with HT these days, quality panels are very reasonably priced, BluRay is now mainstream, and the sky is the limit on top of that!

    Thanks all. I remember the step-up from VHS to DVD and how much that impressed me...then of course DVD to Blu-Ray was even better. Makes me wonder what could be next.
