Hitachi 57s500 has been delivered (1 Viewer)

My Hitachi 57s500 set was delivered on Sunday morning and because the cabinet separates, we were able to take it up my six steps and around the corner in my home theater room. Now I await the Comcast cableguy to install the hdtv/set-top box. That'll happen on Thursday.

Had the Toshiba 51-inch NOT been delivered to my home in broken condition two weeks ago (inside mirror shattered/screen chipped), I wouldn't have upgraded to this set. Funny how things work out...

PS. After rebate, this Hitachi cost me $1870.00.

Where did you get the tv?

I got it from Sears who price matched Circuit City's price (plus a 10% difference) and offered the $100 rebate. Not bad.
