HDTV set how can i get rid of the Jaggedness on my set it just came out of the box. i'm trying to calibrate it by eye but no luck so far and my HD Essentials disc is packed away or missing plus i never calibrated using a disc before. also how high should this set be off of the floor. right now its sitting on the floor i don't want to mount it on the wall. but would like it to be up off of the floor. Don,

eye level for a starting point.

switching to pro mode or movie mode should assist with jaggies.

    Find your calibration test.

i have not the slightest ideal of what i did but i put all of the controls to 50+ then backing out or going thru more of the menus. i found a reset button on the screen i pressed the reset. and then turned it off figuring on working on it the next day. well i turned it on and there was a better picture then there was when it came out of the box. any ideals as to what i did ?
