does anyone know if there is a proper way to use a denon avr-2803 as a preamp to bi-amplifiy a pair of bryston 3b's.

I want to use one 3b to power the woofers on my paradigm monitor 11's and one 3b to power the highs. I dont want to use them as monoblocks becuase i think one 3 b is a few years older than the other and im afraid they arent exactly the same. Also since the the both of the 3b's are 100 watts per channel i want to keep them both in stereo so im only sending 200 watts to each speaker total rather than briding the amps and sending 400 watts to each speaker.

Can some one please tell if this is possible.

Thanks alot

What do you mean "proper" Split the signal with a Y to each amp and use them in a horizontal config. Should work fine.
