I can see that there are going to be a LOT of abstentions in this tourney, and we're going to end up with a lot of 1-0 wins just because so few people have seen the films. Since this is an elimination tourney anyway, I'm going to modify the rules slightly starting with round 2. In order to move on, you have to win and get at least 2 votes. Otherwise, both films get eliminated.
Why am I telling you this now, when round 2 is a long way off. Well, I'd like to implement these rules now, but don't want to have a bunch of complaints about changing the rules.
So, I'm asking you to vote.
Modify rules now vs. Wait until round 2
If Modify now wins, then I won't wait til round 2.
