Has anyone gotten word on if Fox is continuing with "Hill Street Blues" on DVD?

I hate that I can't have the complete series! It was the best...

Seasons 3-7 are now my 'holy grail' for TV on DVD.

Same for me. Sad to see such a groundbreaking show not continue.

Just yesterday, I was telling my wife how it sucked Hill Street Blues was stuck on two seasons.
Having watched the first season, I'm holding off on the second just because once I watch it, that's it, it's over.
That will be a sad day for me. boo hoo

I'm hoping that someday Fox will let another studio pick this (and more of their unwanted shows) up and release it on dvd.

No, none. There hasn't been a single hint.

I would dearly love more season sets, too. But I'm not holding my breath.

For those stuck on season 2 with no real hope at this point of a continuance. I keep seeing the two season pack at Target for $20 but so far have continued to pass it up. I remember seeing a fair number of episodes during its original run but don't recall much of the earlier seasons.

So would you recommend this as a pickup to someone even though they won't get past the first two seasons, or would you say pass just because of the continuing story arc that will never be completed at this point on DVD?

    Brad,

I'd get that set. IMO, the earlier seasons are the best ones. You won't lose too much continuity by getting S1/2.

Thanks for the advice...It is hard to resist these two season packs for $20.
