Does it have options for dual source/dual room? If not, what AVR model do I have to step up to for dual source/dual room.

No it does not unfortunatly. If you mean 2nd zone option that would be on the HK-325 and up. That goes for the newer models, the AVR-330 and up all have that. Any 7.1 reciever from HK has the 2nd zone output.
