The Falcons. Anybody remember that episode where they killed Richie's brother?
It was so tragic, no one could find it in their hearts to even mention his name again.

I'm still wondering if Happy Days is in the works for DVD. Does anyone know if Paramount is prepping this t.v series for DVD? Sure would like to buy the first two seasons of Happy Days if nothing else. To me, season 1974 & 1975 were the best. These seasons portrayed a better looking 50's feel to the show.

Regards-

Troy

I remember seeing the short mini-episode that introduced the story concept, in that episodic Tv comedy "Love American Style" .... with Howard Gould as Richie's father. He was Rhoda's father in her Tv show and also acted in "The Sting".

Yeah, it was a very tragic episode. One of the best episode of the series, but not as good as the episode when Foznie jumped over all those trash cans. :) :D

I enjoyed the ones where Mom was arrested, the introduction of Mork From Ork...Robin Williams as the alien, any of the Laverne and Shirley episodes...especially the first one, the series of stories where Richie, Ralph, and Potsie shared an apartment in Chachie's Mom's apartment building ,

"The Kissing Bandit" wherein Richie was thought to be a Stud...and the one where they all got their draft notices...Sgt. Belcher was a memorable character.

The Halloween episode with the headless old lady was especially frightening to me as a young man. I could not sleep for a long time afterwards without believing that a headless lady was gonna come after me out of the closet, so I kept the closet door open so I could see her coming!
I'd love to see that one again now and figure out how I could be so gullible...
And after seeing bald-headed Ron Howard last night on the Golden Globes, I'd like to see young Richie C. again, and ALL the fun gang. Fonz was cool...Aaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy! :emoji_thumbsup:

Could someone explain this to me. I was never that big a watcher of the series. Was this a joke or a dream or something or what?

When the series started Ritchie had an Older brother Chuck. The producers decided to drop the part, but it was never mentioned onscreen what had happened to the character.

I would buy the first four seasons. The "live audience" ones aren't all that bad, and even the dreaded Chachi years had some pretty funny ones, even though the show had no reason for being after 1980. I, too love the draft notice episode, the high-school graduation, Marion getting a job at Arnold's, the car in the lake, Richie, Potsie, and Ralph sharing an apartment, Mork, Ralph being hypnotized, Fonzie's fear of liver, and many others.

Chuck actually was mentioned in the series once after his departure. After the last episode, they had a gathering of the cast to discuss the series. At the very end of the discussion they posed for a cast picture and Tom Bosley said "Hey, where's Chuck" just before they snapped the photo.

One of my favorites - Fonzie's garage is blown up by the mob and they have to stage his funeral. Guest appearances by Arnold, The Big Ragu, Laverne, Shirley, Lennie, Squiggy and Fonzie playing his own mother. Fonzie himself was played by his empty engineering boots on top of the casket.

Yes, Bag was a Falcon after Fonzie left the gang.

Anybody remember Sticks, the african-american drummer in Richie's band? The actor who played him went on to a distinguished career in porn. Chris Rock joked about it once on Howard Stern.

Embarrassing proof that I am a child of the 70's - I once had a cat named after Fonzie's nephew Spike.
