I found a few refurbished with a 2 year warranty. I know this is the old model but I just love the front on these. Anyone with experience please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Jump on it. I couldn't wait for the 520 prices to come down so I zapped one of these for the duration. HK is great at service so the warranty is peace of mind. If something goes down and they can't fix it, they shoot you a superior product. You can't beat that with a stick.

I can live without DPL2 but I gotta have my equalizer. This unit fits the bill perfectly. As to the faceplate, pretty is in the eye of the beholder...I'm with you on this one.
