Does anyone know if this documentary of the 1992 recording of the new Broadway cast album of the show Guys and Dolls has been made available on DVD? I cannot find it at any e-tailer.

It is a great program! And I would love to get rid of my VHS copy I made off PBS.

Great show. I know it's available on VHS, but I don't think it's out on DVD. By contrast, the documentary for the making of The Producers is available on DVD. Perhaps they'll eventually get around to releasing the Guys and Dolls recording session as well.

A really nice version of "Guys and Dolls- off the record" was released on Laserdisc, with great quality sound.

It remains one of my favorite and most looked at discs.

The title could probably be picked up cheap at e-bay.

You can always get the Samuel Goldywn film. You know, with Marlon Brando. He sings.... he dances... he, er, he's thin!

Be warned, the Marlon Brando version is NOT ANAMORPHIC.

For some of his later films, you REALLY need the anamorphic widescreen version...... [IMG]

I believe her prefers to watch Anamorphic versions of his later movies in the unsqueezed mode.
