This has to be a farce made to make the new head of the MPAA look like a fool, right?
The source, BBSpot, is like the Onion; it's another satirical website.
I wouldn't put it past them though. That might be the next step .
The story "MPAA to Thwart Pirates By Making All Movies Suck" is NOT a parody however
Now to clean up the eggnog...
Jesse, do you have a link to that story? I haven't spewed on my screen in a while...
Oh, I can't wait! I have the perfect place to mount my motion detector - in my closet!
Wouldn't it suck to be the friend invited to a party and have to leave cause you're the only one that DOESN'T own the movie.
All friends that attend screenings at my place get a copy of the film being shown....
It normally takes me a few days to burn them to hand out...
So, we are safe at this end....
I just burn copies of my dvds and give a copy to each person who watches the film with me, that way everyone owns the dvd. So that's got me covered, right?
No, that makes you a pirate
Was it the eye patch, parrot or the wooden leg that gave me away?
No, it was the constant use of the phrase "ARRR" after every sentence.
I will work on that.....
Joke or not, the MPAA has a serious image-problem and that is a FACT.
And they should get the Dept of Homeland Security to enforce it.
My wife and I are about to have a baby. Will the baby be able to watch the movies? I'm worried, and do not want to be accused of piracy.
Maybe this is why, when I used to go to movie nights at a friend, he had a policy of only providing movies that sucked...
