No. However, though I'm not real enamored with Meredith, I wouldn't say it gets to the point that she makes me dislike watching the show.

Isn't that the truth. I always thought Meredith was the weakest part of the show. And since its titled "Grey's Anatomy", we're stuck with her. Maybe this is a way out? Hopefully so.

Give Meredith one more season and then let her move on.

Don't know if what he's saying is true. But if it isn't, it's still very savvy to tie in the craptacular arc Knight's character took this past season. Feeding those hungry for an explanation for the choices made this past year.
