Good TV for HT (1 Viewer)

I need help with my HT. I have a Sanyo TV that is around 5 years old and I need a new one. What would be a good TV for under $400. I have the DVD Player and I want to hook it up to the TV with Component Cable. Can anyone help?

Welcome to Home Theater Forum, James. We will guide you through this ordeal.
If it were my $400, I'd be looking at the Toshiba 27A41, which has component-video connections. You should easily be able to find this for less than $400.
We'll get into this "squeeze trick" thing later.

Another vote for the Tosh.
I'm in the market for a 27 also, after much research I found the Tosh to be the best picture for the money.

Check your local Target. Mine was clearancing the 27A41 for $209.00
