Good DVD progressive player? (1 Viewer)

Planning to upgrade our dvd player (sony) to compliments the HW40 set. My friend said that it'll be a day and night difference with progressive player dvd, is this true? Can I really see/identified the difference on the player?

Oh forgot to ask on which unit do you recommend w/o causing an arm and leg so to speak.

Check out the Panasonic RP62, it's only $180@crutchfield (ie if u search around, u could prob find it for less), does progressive, and i hear it has a great picture. Also, it's super-slim!

You also have an option of SACD or DVD-A, so if you are interested in that, there are other options.

I like the Toshiba 4700 - around $200 I expect these days, and does DVD-A too. Very user friendly.
