Here's my question. Is the nudity In the movie(Italian muse...) gratuitous...or actually fit into the story?

Too bad Bruce. Big Night fit all of the clues, almost too neatly, including the final 'dish washing' reconciliation scene.

I hope TT does this one at some point though...

Although I haven't seen the film, I'm thinking it might be The Fugitive Kind. It does have Brando for Method, Magnani for Italian, and it is a United Artists release. I'm not sure about spaghetti sauce however.

The Fugitive Kind is with Criterion, and Disney has Noises Off.

The Man from La Mancha (1971) is perfect for TT. An MGM/UA, an epic production, the early 70's. Maybe one day, but not today.

Thanks for doing this again, Bruce.

Question: Is the screenplay original or was it adapted from a prior work?

Question: Is it set in a decade other than the one in which it was filmed?

Not a Disney property. Disney sold Miramax in December 2010 to an investment company that is exploring the catalog with titles licensed to Lionsgate and Echo Bridge.

True. Thanks for the correction. Still this has no relation, as of yet, to the companies that lease titles to TT.

No. But it is part of the clue. "The Method" was Brando, "an Italian muse" was Maganni. The “spaghetti sauce”, “it all comes out in the wash", those are still unknown.

Great guess. Sophia Loren, the Spanish shoot, it fits the clue. This is MGM/UA. Sadly no.
