FS: Anthem AVM30 black

Price: $2,200 + shipping (or I will arrange for pickup in Western PA area). MSRP is $3,000.

This excellent preamp/processor was purchased from a local dealer earlier this year, and is in near-perfect condition (no flaws that I can see). It is still the latest processor from Anthem, and is updated to the newest v1.11 software version. It includes factory packaging and of course the learning remote and other accessories.

Here is a shootout that Sound & Vision did between the AVM30, Krell's Showcase ($4,000), and Parasound's Halo C1 ($6,000). The Anthem was named the winner in the "bottom line" section on page 4.

It is self-upgradable via Internet downloads and a laptop PC. In addition, Anthem will soon be offering a major hardware upgrade that includes HDMI (including audio!), video transcoding, broadcast-quality scaler, and more. Price reduced to $2,000. This is lower than any listing I've seen for an AVM30, but I need to sell this ASAP.
