I'm nearing completion of my A/V-3S and I need to find some foam to line the interior walls of the cabinet.

I should be looking for open-cell foam, right?

Also, where is the best place to pick some up?

TIA

That's exactly what I'm looking for.

Is there any major stores that carry the stuff? I would like to get it locally so I can line it tonight.

James,

Is there any reason why you wouldn't consider the use of sheets of polyfill? You could staple these to the cabinet walls.

Could you just use one of those egg crate mattress pads? They're pretty inexpensive.

I didn't think about sheets of poly-fil. The only stuff I've ever seen came in the form of one big cotton ball. I'll look around for some in the sheet form.

The eggcrate matress is what I originally had planned to use, but the only thing the local Wal-Mart has is this weather proof stuff with a skin on it (I'm pretty sure it's closed cell).
