It may be disappointing that lossless was not supplied on this title, but the DD+ on the HD DVD side is a mighty fine audio track. I haven't heard the BD disk so can not comment on that.

Sure, its good enough. Or, better than SD DVD. Even, "mighty fine"! ;-)
However, being a audiophile, HD to me meant 24/48 lossless audio, at the very least. Heck, I was hoping for 24/96 "music only" tracks on HD Disc. Butt then, I'm crazy/insane about audio.

Yes, HD means (to me) both audio and video.

Flags' Dolby Digital track sounds great, don't get me wrong. But I'd prefer to get to the original audio as possible. Paramount is the ONLY studio that hasn't done this. Their going Dolby TrueHD would serve both formats and make a lot of people happy.
