This programming is probably better suited for the Sci Fi channel... ;)

I wish there were Bigfoot, I just don't think there are any. I'm posting a link to this thread in that "Bigfoot" thread in After Hours since this is mandatory watching!

(Would be mandatory watching if I had the channel anyways.)

This show is almost beyond cheesy and corny. the recent ep in the Florida swamp lands ugh. A greasy hand print on a window and these peole, take one crappy picture of it and don't take an imprint with tape or something. Then the big shocker of this ep is the night vision image of the being ou t in the distance in the field. One of these "finders" goes out there, ALONE and doesn't get any video of this being himself even though it appears he is within yards of the thing. It appears that the script of the show is talk to nuts about Bigfoot or a "Squatch", the hosts be as nutty as the guests, have a major shocker near the end and finally reveal nothing.

Horrible. A group of BFRO members that use Bigfoot as their meal ticket. Alas, they did get a show going so I guess they are smarter than one would think. Another 'wherever we go there are Bigfoot' scenario. Pathetic really. These aren't casual people happening upon a Bigfoot, these are people that are determined to see a Bigfoot behind every rock, and under every hollow.

SAD!

I hate the way the act like there is a science to what they are doing - and then ignore and evidence that does not fit their conclusion on what is going on.

As an example - in the one and only show I watched - they had a thermal image film of a "creature" sneaking up and taking a candy bar off of a stump. They were looking at the film, and saying things like "look how long the arms are" and "this creature must be at least 8 feet tall" and "looking at the thermal image, if they were wearing clothes, you would see a different heat signature".

Then they get the guy who took the film and setup the same camera in the same pace and re-created the event, but this time using one of their larger crew members as a substitute (guy is about 6' 3" tall) and he was wearing clothes.

Then they put the two films together - and you could not tell the difference.

They were both about the same size, and the clothes didn't seem to effect the picture like they said it would. It was so obvious that these were the same.

It would have been "myth busted" on another show - but they somehow managed to see what they wanted to see.

-- I think they should just offer 10 grand for a dead one, and let the hunters loose - but that would probably get the guys running around in the suites killed...go for an air attack - if they see something, drop a couple of bombs and collect what is left. Not holding my breadth that they find something...

Great example of why I ditched Directv.
 More specifically a pay to watch tv service, not necessarily Directv itself? Either way there are still plenty of other truly interesting things on. It's not all Finding Bigfoot type programming.
