XM Announced that federal regulators would be conducting an investigation into business practices at XMSR today. The problem will focus on customer allegations of uneven billing practices, false marketing, and customer retention practices.

    Key amongst complaints:

    * Customer complaints that advertising regarding "Commercial Free Music" was false.
    * Customer Billing claims regarding inability to successfully cancel or renegotiate services.
    * Whether or not XM violated the Federal Trade regulations in regards to telemarketing to customers with disregard to the federal No-Call list

XM has announced they will conduct an internal investigation of these issues and will comply completely with federal regulators to resolve all matters.
