I don't think 34 is unlucky, I just don't care for the number. To me, acceptable numbers of episodes in TV show seasons are 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 36, and 39. But that doesn't stop me from buying shows that don't have that number of episodes in a season. If I really like a show, I'll buy the DVD regardless of how many episodes there are. There are just certain numbers that I prefer. Having said that, I would also like to have the full series of Window On Main Street, all 34 episodes. I guess they could make it a 5 disc set, 7 episodes per disc and the 5th disc would have 6 episodes and maybe any bonus features they could come up with.Originally Posted by LeoAmes

Is it a poor number to fit on disc (Have to have an extra disc just for 1-2 episodes for example) that reduces it's attractiveness as a standalone release? That's the only possible thing I can think of that you could mean, unless you just think 34 is a unlucky number.
