    Hello all,

I just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with using baluns as seen on http://www.muxlab.com

In a nutshell, these devices connect to your audio/video equipment on each end and then plug into a Cat5 run through the walls to connect the endpoints. Apparently because of the twisted-pairs, etc. you can run audio/video signals up to 600-1000 feet (600 for like Dolby Digital and up to 1000 for S-Video, stereo audio, etc).

Just wanted any input from people that may have used it as to the quality and actual performance as I'm considering using these to connect my PC's audio (stereo) output from an upstairs computer down to the entertainment center as well as connect an audio/video output on my TIVO to a different upstairs PC (I have ALOT of Cat5 runs in my house [IMG] )

    TIA,
    Mike W.
