I just wanted to know if the following Ernest Movies are on dvd or not.
Ernest Rides Again
Ernest Goes To School
Ernest Goes to Splash Mountain
Slam Dunk Earnest
Hey, Vern, It's Ernest!

My Ernest Collection so far.

Ernest Goes to Camp
Ernest Scared Stupid
Ernest Goes to Jail
Ernest Saves Christmas
Ernest In The Army
Ernest Goes To Africa.

I wished they would release some of these in Widescreen,
but I picked them up anyways since they were only
like $10 bucks.

That's it. With Camp being the only one in anamorphic widescreen. Crappy, crappy treatment of these films.

Ahh hell, I didn't know Christmas was non-anamorphic. Well, I still would have bought it...but...yuck.

I would love to see Ernest Goes to School. I mean I've seen it, but I want it on DVD, I loved that movie.

I've never seen Ernest Goes to Splash Mountain. Is that a movie or a promotional thing?

I want to get Slam Dunk Ernest but I fear it will be FS.

Slam Dunk Ernest was direct-to-video. It's available on DVD from Lions Gate in Canada (I found it at Big Lots over here.)

It's worth noting, though, that Ernest Scared Stupid was the last of the Ernest movies to be given a theatrical release (I believe?), so I'd imagine ~1.33:1 is the OAR for Ernest Rides Again and on.
Ernest Rides Again was given a theatrical release. I remember because my family and I were the only ones in the theater. They also ran a Mr. Bill (puppet from early 80s Saturday Night Live) short film which was awful. Movie wasn't much better.

You're right. Total mistake on my part. It looks to have been released independently, which is what I guess threw me off. I don't think Buena Vista had anything to do with it.
