Equipment rack/rack door - height? (1 Viewer)

I'm planning to have my equipment rack in a storage room next to my home theater with an opening (custom glass door) into the HT room. Based on equipment I need to be accessible/IR controlled (ie DVD player, cable box, receiver but not power conditioner/amps etc) I'm wondering what a good height for the door should be? I'd like to hear what others have experienced TIA!

I'd go with the tallest door I could. You never know what your next upgrade will require in space. Imagin having this custom rack & door then buying some new or additional equipment only to find that it doesn't fit.
