Epson Cinema 550 vs. BenQ7700 (1 Viewer)

I was wondering which would be a better performer for someone watching mainly movies on dvd? The Epson 550 goes for around $2500 and the Benq7700 sells for $1900 with TV Authority. Would it be worth an extra $600 to opt for the Epson 550? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I found this post with the exact same question. My Sharp PGX25 died (again, for the fifth time and now out of warranty) and am ready to upgrade.

I am also curious to any 550 owners about screen door issues.
