My 3 year old Transvision broke a couple of months ago and I was informed by my dealer that DWIN was apparently out of business, even though their web page can be brought up. He said calls and emails have gone unanswered for the past several months. The repair guy said he looked all over the web and could not find the part I needed (some glass part in the projector. Lamp is fine, scaler is fine). I am at this forum looking for help. Do I now own a $6,000 paperweight? Help!

hi
I do think Dwin is still in business ? (not sure though). I do know they had a bunch of lay offs over the past 18 months.
The up side of this...for the cost of repair, you can most likely get a replacement projector that would out perform it. Technology has dramatically changed over the past few years.
Good luck
