Hey All,
I'm sure this question has been asked before, so I am sorry for asking it again. This week I got a Laptop and it has a DVD player on it. How do you take screen captures from a DVD movie? Can any DVD player do it or only certain ones? If it's the latter, what is a really good DVD player? My Dell came with WinDVD which seems to work ok. Isn't there a way for windows to take screen shots? (The print screen key?) But where are they saved?
Thanks for any help.

"Uh-oh."
"Don't tell me, we're about to go over a huge waterfall?"
"Yep."
"Sharp rocks at the bottom?"
"Most likely."
"....Bring it on."

WinDVD should have that but I'm not sure. I only have Power DVD and that one has a capture option. Check out ur settings on WinDVD. Its usually like a camera icon. U can also check where they save it by pressing that icon and see.
Hope this helps but I'm sure other guys would chime in by the end of the day.

Try PowerDVD, very simple to make caps, all you do is press "c" while the movie is playing, it saves the pics to the powerdvd dir, but becareful, they fill up your drive fast :)
thats my two cents
