DVD DAC's and digital output (1 Viewer)

I just bought a new DVD player that has the Burr-Brown DAC's. Using a digital output, am I getting any benefit from the Burr-Brown DAC's?

No you aren't. You are passing a pure digital stream to your receiver's DAC's.
