I remember that winter (Dallas native). When I met and talked with Linda Gray a couple of years ago, she mentioned that the cast was surprised when they flew into Dallas to film the miniseries and saw all of the brown grass/trees and the snow/ice on the ground. I told her about sliding around town in the car that weekend the snow hit town Oh well, it was a good ep with Brain Dennehy as one of the guests.

Those early Dallas shows really captured the local flavor. It was fun seeing the local scenes on film.
