Dust particles inside my screen! (1 Viewer)

My JVC rear projector HD-56G787 has a piece of dust on the inside of the screen that can be seen while its on. I used a can of compressed air to clean the small gap around the screen. I've done this before with no side effects. This time the dust showed up. I'm assuming its on the lens in the base of the tv since the dust wad is about 6 inches on my screen.

Is this something that I can clean by removing the bulb or front screen? I don't mind tackling a job like this provided it doesn't take any special tools.

Any suggestions other than calling a technician and paying him the 1/2 the price of buying a new tv.

either on the lense...or in the light path.

not too big of a job if your comfortable with a screw driver.

It may be a good thing to get a service manual to assist with the deconstruction of your display.

good luck!!
