While there are some good comedy bits which made me and my audience howl, the script isn't that good, and it gets off to a rocky start, much like the unlikely pairing of the characters played by Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis on an even more unlikely road trip with one another, but it does find this weird absurdist streak about 2/3 into the film which carries it to the end. It's worth no more than a matinee viewing.

I give it 2.5 stars, or a grade of C+.

An obvious comparison would be Planes, Trains & Automobiles from 1987.

I enjoyed this quite abit even though I don't really like Zach Black Robin Williams.

... if Steve Martin's character was an abusive psychopath and John Candy's character was a selfish, manipulative drug addict.
