I have a drop ceiling that I am going to be running some wires and my projector mount into. Instead of just cutting a hole in the tile and leaving it unfinshed I want to get a bezel or a trim ring, like for recessed lights, to give it a finished look. I went to a ghetto Lowes on my lunch hour, but no one seemed to be able to help.

What is the best thing to use in this situation?
Thanks

So, the mount will be running through the dropped ceiling?

You could maybe look in plumbing for a PVC drain flange. Or, I've seen A/C vents that are merely a flanged hole in the ceiling.

Or if you really want to get fancy, you could go over to lighting and look at ceiling medallions:

so how would I get it to stick in the ceiling then.. there is nothing to hang it on, just glue it? Any thoughts?

Look in the wiring section of your hardware store. Look for a computer grommet or something like that. They go upto three inches in size and are friction fit to match a cutout done with a hole saw, which is basically a large round drill bit type system. Modifying the light flange might be cheaper though.
