Downton Abbey cut or not cut?? (1 Viewer)

My daughter and wife love "Downton Abbey". So I was going to get it for them on dvd or blu ray. Then I have been reading that the PBS versions are cut. I then see their is a PBS version that said its the uncut UK edition.....But, I heard that also still may be cut. Does anyone know the true story?? Thanks!!

I have only one episode left on my second season bluray and have have been lucky. I saw none of the problems described. I have the UK version from Amazon with the Christmas ep in it. I am sorry that everyone is having problems. I was given the DVD from season 1 before I bought my two HD sets and even that looked ok. I have a panisonic bluray LCD set both about 4 years old.
