According to the spec's in the link you provided, yes this TV has built in HDTV tuners so you don't need a separate tuner box.

Note that if you are going to get your TV broadcasts via cable or satellite, the built in tuner will not be used, you must hook up the cable TV tuner via the TV's video input jacks.
