Do we need a USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION sticky thread? (1 Viewer)

Well, I supposed it could be titled, "How to use the SEARCH function". It just seems so many threads daily are started in the Software section that people could easily find their answers (or a thread already on the topic) instead of posting a whole new thread.

Ever since we started up HTF years ago the problem with posting the same thing over and over has been there. There really isn't anything to be done about it either. The only thing that can be done is to ask people to use the search function more often but even that doesn't help.

I know Parker, it can't be hepled. You could have the search button flashing, and it probably still wouldn't help. I just used this way to vent, as I thought it would be more pleasant than other ways .
