Back in mid-May, I had purchased a package of dvds from Tyler Geer ([email protected]) from the Classified Ads of AVS Forum. The titles that he promised were as follows. However, the titles that I received were different as follows.
Titles Promised..............Titles Actually Received
Gladiator.............................same
Matrix................................same
Batman ...............................same
Stargate..............................PROMO
Friday: platinum series ..............same
Leathal Weapon 4 .....................PROMO
Toy story ..........................TS 1 & 2 (2 PACK)
Toy Story 2 ........................TS 1 & 2 (2 PACK)
Lost in Space.........................PROMO
The Crow: wide screen ................same
Braveheart: widescreen ...............same
Conan: collector edition .............same
Dragon the bruce lee story ...........same
Terminator 2: UE......................same
Mision Impossible dts ...MI2 ASIAN REGION 3(NON DTS - NO INSERT)
Xmen dts ................ASIAN ALL REGION (NON DTS – NO INSERT)
Jurassic Park dts .......ASIAN ALL REGION (NON DTS – NO INSERT)
hk multiregion dvds:
Star Wars Episode 1 ..................same
Crouching Tiger hidden dragon ........same
In fact, it is hard to believe he ‘mistakenly’ shipped different titles since he deliberately included the ‘dts’ on three of the titles which are clearly not dts, not even U.S. originated, a fact that he ‘inadvertently’ missed to disclose. Also, he did not specify that the three promo titles were indeed ‘promos’. Moreover, Toy Story 1 and 2 were the 2-pack, not separate titles.
I asked him to rectify this problem, and as you can see from the following correspondence, he really has no intentions. At first he tried to weasel out by trying to be cute and acting dumb. Then, he accuses me of not inquiring about the titles beforehand, that I lacked communications. Then, he makes an unacceptable offer (he offered me one other flawed title, which I already have). I emailed him back saying that it was not satisfactory and asked for another solution. He would not email back. A couple of more emails on my part, still no email from him. Obviously, he is avoiding me.
I paid him through Paypal and wonder what action I could take. Please advise what I should do.

Ok I'm willing to resolve this issue in the best way possible. So not
to damage either one of reputations unjustly. Because this little
discreptancy is not worth a war. I will give you another dvd free, a retail
What Lies Beneath. Its not in perfect condition has a couple tiny
scratches but plays perfectly, just wanted to be upfront, honest and
descriptive so theirs no misunderstandings. Let me know if this will be
sufficent of a recoupe and I will also expect a positive heatware eval in
return for this, thanks.
