I've noted some fair deals on some "last years" model DPL widescreens (Samsung). Did some looking at "This vs Last" years models and the most obvious difference I found was that in '04 Samsung used a "Display System" that used a .55 inch micro device (DLP Chip) The new '05 models use a .80 inch micro device and have a price tag that is approx. $1500 more. 1) am I reading the specs correctly? 2) does size matter? 3) Are Samsung's '05 models $1500 better than their '04? 4) Just starting my search & I've been steered towards Samsung. Any other widescreens Brands worth considering in the $2500 to $3500 range? I'm looking at 44-56 wide monitor with DLP or other technology that allows for a shallow box (14-18 inch deep) due to room size & configuration.

    thanks, dp
