Display Panel and Remote Controller issue of H/K AVR335 (1 Viewer)

The VFD Time Out setting on the OSD of the AVR335 gets reset everytime the receiver is switched off and restarted
So, is the case with the 'Dim' settings controlled from the Remote Control Unit. Is there any method to customize
this setting so that it does not have to be set every time? The OSD time out settings and the custom vol. settings remain the same however.

Also, if any one can advise me on which Universal Remote Controller to purchse (budget upto $100). The RC of
AVR335 is not very useful as it lacks many controls for the CD/DVD i.e. eject, menu, subtitle selection etc.
