Watched this on DVD last night... fun family film. However, there seemed to be a complete lack of LFE. I even had to check to make sure my sub was turned on. Could this be an authoring error? Anyone else have the same observations? There were several scenes with rockets or people punching the ground with their superpowers... and not a single one caused the sub to rumble. I found it very odd.

No problems here. There was plenty of LFE when I watched this last night. Granted, the bass wasn't as punchy as some of the more recent action/adventure extravaganzas...but it was definitely present. Did you check your set-up?

My wife noticed the LFE every time Coach Boomer showed off his power. The walls rattled. ;)

Great movie, btw. It wasn't a B.O. smash, but I certainly hope it finds it's audience on DVD.

Regards,

- S.D.

I bought this blind, my daughter (8) saw it in the theater and really liked it. I enjoy Kurt Russell and this looks to be a fun movie. Hopefully I'll get a chance to spin the disc in the next few days.

I agree. Very fun flick, IMHO. I'll probably be picking one up for myself, uh, I mean for my eight-year-old son, sometime this week. ;)

I'm kinda interested in this one so I'll probably rent it first incase its too kiddy for my tastes.

Fun movie, watched it last night. The soundtrack was decent and full but it lacked any real low end bass. I have a 177L 15" Tempest Sonotube sub tuned to 17Hz, I have the cut-off set at 80Hz. This moive seems to lack anything below 80Hz. There might be some information there but it's not much. Nothing like Batman Begins or War of the Worlds.

Very suprised with how funny this is. Good inclusion of the Kids in the Hall in their roles.

Very few things better then the screams of "SIDEKICK!" :) I also enjoyed the lesson on the board:

"HOLY ________, it's _________ man!"

Far funnier then I ever expected it to be.
