Can DirecTV dish be used to receive Dish Network Signal.
Just ordered Dish Network was just wondering if I have to replace the dish also. I beleive the one that I order comes with 20" dish. My direcTV dish is 18"

Yes, you can use the same dish. Of course, it will have to be pointed at the proper satellite.

Your DirecTV dish is pointed at a satellite in the 101 degree slot. The majority of Dish's programming is on a satellite at 119 degrees. Move it a few degrees to the right and down a little. The setup menu will have the exact instructions. If you want the America's Top 150 program package or some of the movie channels, you will have to use the bigger dish that comes with your new system. It will be able to "see" the satellites at 110 and 119.
