I already have the Dish, I am currently considering geting the 6000 HDTV reciever. My questions is: Will I be able to receive ABC, NBC, Fox and CBS in HDTV with the satellite reciever? (I know Fox doesn't do true HDTV)

I am currently recieving the "local" channels on dish and not over the air.

Only CBS-HD. :frowning:
However, if you cat get OTA-HD signals, the 6000 reciever can process them.

If your locals are broadcasting digital, the ota picture qaulity will be better than dish anyway..As mentioned the Dish 6000 Hd receiver and the 8vsb module will allow you to get OTA signals both from your locals digital channels and analog channels..
