    Hi:
I just got back from Sears where they are charging $700 for a JVC 6023 receiver! YIKES!
Can anyone tell me where I can get a Dish 6000 receiver for the going ($499) rate (or better)? $700 seems BAD! Does MVS sell them?
    Thanks in Advance,
    Fred Danowski

I second Tim's recommendation. Mark and the rest of the people at DishDepot are just great. Very helpful and they fortunetly also tend to have the lowest prices. Chris

The number 6023 means that it also comes with 2 dishes and 2 SW21 switches.
Anyway, go to Sears with a printout of one of the interent sites that has the 6023 for cheap. They will price match it for you.
That is what I did and was able to get the whole 6023 system at Sears as a current subscriber for $398.95!
Not bad at all considering the cheapest I could find the receiver alone online was for $389.00. So this way you get a Dish 500 with Twin LNBF and a Dish 300 all together with the receiver.

Now I just need to find the cheapest place to buy the 8VSB tuner. UGh. Looks like $139 now. Wish I had jumped on the HD bandwagon when it was $99. Those bastards! [IMG]

I'm confused, all these prices seem to be for new customers. For example, if I go to check out from the allsat.com site, it forces me to agree that I am a first time dish subscriber. Will Sears not even look at that?
