I own the BTF box set and Roger Rabbit. I also think Part 2 is the best of the BTF series, an opinion shared by approximately 2 people on the planet (my brother and I).

Kind of bringing an old thread back to life, bit I love his films.

Contact and Castaway are my favorites. What's really great is the commentary's on the DVDs, especially with Contact.

It had some fantastic special effects that were just mind-boggling. I still don't know how they did the mirror scene with the young Ellie. Absolutely fantastic.

Even the tiniest thing, from eye color to major effects was flawless and seemingly impossible. With Castaway, loved how they did so many of the scenes, especially the one with Tom Hanks at the top of the island. He was literally in a parking lot and the rest of it was CGI.

Love Robert's films. Wasn't that impressed with Flight, but will have to give it another try.

Reading back through this topic was interesting. Never knew he did the BTF films.

Almost embarrassing to admit but I've never, ever seen any of them. Some previews and teasers here and there, but never saw any of the films.

Loved "Death Becomes Her", didn't know he was involved until I read this thread. Guess I should pay more attention the credits in the future.
