Hey, Gary. Just saw your review of Gulliver's travels on Blu-ray. You mention it might be the oldest film to BD yet. But don't forget The Adventures of Robin Hood.
Thanks for all the great work! :emoji_thumbsup:

Gary:

Thanks for the Goldfinger comparison.

Just as in the last release, I'm bothered by the color timing. I'm not saying it is as bad as other instances in the Bond series, because it isn't. But Jill Masterson's hair is more toward white hues than the more platinum blonde colored stills from the shoot. That doesn't make the stills right either but it does raise questions. Further, the phone by the bed Masterson is sprawled across is as bright white as white gets. Yet the walls, lamps and lighting have a gold or copper tones to them. How does that not reflect on toning down the white of the phone. Has anybody ever seen a phone that white (even now, let alone in 1964) under artificial light?

Also, you may have addressed this but why are the Blu-Ray images larger than the other images? It seems biased to a bigger image is a better image mentality. Wouldn't putting all the images at the same size be more equitable?
