Situation:

I have a Dish508 PVR reciever in the living room and a standard reciever in the bedroom.
I want to be able to record on the PVR in the living room while watching a different channel in the living room. So I was going to use the other reciever for the "different" channel and control the receiver in the bedroom via a UHF remote.

My attic is very accessable for dropping wire.

How do I do this as easily as possible?
Can I use a diplexer even though both signals are satellite?
Do I need to run another cable in the wall from one reciever to the other?

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

I take it both are working properly now.
The signal out of the bedroom xcvr can be split (Out to TV connector) into 2 ; 1 to the TV and the other to the Living room
If the TV has 2 coaxial inputs put it in the 2nd input
If not, get a A/B switch from Radio Shack and connect them to that
