    Regard less its a DTS or DD
    it always says 3/2.
    What the hell that mean.
    Why 3 out 2
    Why the hell Full sound source or info

    BTW

    I have Ricer Reciver; Sony STR-DE 845 with Cool blue light.

    In the notation "3/2", the "3" refers to the number of front channels and the "2" refers to the number of rear channels.

    The more common version is "3/2.1", where the ".1" refers to the Low Frequency Effects ("LFE") channel.

    On a few movies, my Sony ES shows "3/2+1". I think the "+1" refers to a rear center.

    yeh, my sony reciever days DOLBY DIGITAL 3/2 when 5.1 is on.

    I wondered the same thing....
