Being of a carpenter background, it's a fact houses flex over time, wood dries, foundation loads shift, all sorts of things. Renovated some real old homes and you'd be surprised how things move from original position, especially with poor workmanship. Sub might have helped the process along, but doubt it is the only or even main culprit. I would look to how the floor was installed (proper base, reinforcement, etc.) before I assumed a sub caused the damage.
Just my thoughts.

Well, i think i've convinced them simply by pitching all these reasons suggested here to why it may have happened.

Still, the events thus far dont give hope to adding another PB2+ to the mix. :frowning:
