DENON AVR-4800 S-Video to component video (1 Viewer)

I have a DENON, AVR-4800 and need to convert my s-video on the DENON to component video on my new Vizio E601i-A3 LED LCD. The DENON is 12 years old and has no hdmi but requires s-video to be able to see the DENON menu on the new Vizio. Can anyone help me? I need some kind of coupler or converter.

Thanks for the quick reply. All I need to do is to get the menu up on my Vizio so I can set up my home theater speakers (volume etc) . After that's done I will switch back to my hdmi input. The DENON is old but it probably hasn't got 100 hours on it. I bought it almost new and it's been in moth balls for nearly 12years. It's a hoss and a half and because of its age it's lacking the new and more advanced connections. Is this a common problem when trying to use a HT receiver this old with a new hdtv?

If the S-Video shows the menu, there is no reason the regular composite(that would be the yellow) won't show the menu...
But yes, back then it was rare for a menu to be on the component connection(as that was a "still new" connection)...
I would be surprised though if the 4800 didn't upconvert Comp/S-video to the component stream...
So, technically, the only thing that "needs" a direct connection to the TV is your BD player. Everything else can still be connected analog. That, of course, is assuming you only have two other HD sources.
And yes, if you bought a TV that doesn't have a composite/s-video input(it still exists on upper tier TV), you need a hack kneed approach.
And, according to the specs, your Vizio does have a composite.
