it looks like I got so excited about the sale, that I made a mistake while ordering and ordered 2 copies of macross vol 2.

minutes after I ordered I emailed them to cancel the error, they got back to me later that day to say its too late to cancel since it was already shipped.

kind of disapointing..I'm pretty bummed since there goes most of
the 20% discount.
any ideas on how to recoup my 15.95 loss?
can I send it back for a refund and pay the shipping?

As long as you cover the cost of shipping it back to them (and it's obviously not open), I'm sure there won't be a problem returning it.

I feel better now. shipping shouldnt be more than $3 or so.
considering Im getting free shipment on the order and no sales tax..
and that I'll get the 15.95 back eventually.
it will only set me back $3 or so in the end..

I have accidentally made duplicate purchases before. It is very easy to send the DVD back. I sent mine back via first class and I am sure it was less than $2, FWIW.

I mailed a DVD first class a few weeks back. I think it cost $1.59. (At that weight, it's cheaper than Media Mail due to the minimum charge for a Media Mail package.)

As far as the multimedia storage cabinets (Mission series)--if they're anything like the Sauder-branded ones, they're pretty decent in build...not extremely sturdy, as the Sauder one I have has quite a bit of wiggle in it. In any case, the one thing about the Mission ones for sale at DDD is that none of them are locking cabinets; the Sauder one I have is a locking cabinet and is very similar in style/build/dimension to the Mission multimedia cabinet going for $240 (before discount), but which I paid a little over $120 for, IIRC.

I have two of these already and a third already ordered. They're pretty nice and a good value. If you're putting it together by yourself, you should be able to put it together in under an hour. It does come with some wall anchors if you feel that you need more stability. Also, be prepared when it arrives, the thing weighs about 80 lbs. If you are using it for just dvd's you will end up with about 20 extra boards, you can use those to teach yourself karate
